Single#1 Habstrakt & Badjokes - Miaow

Evolving in a world of agressive and wrenching bass, Habstrakt and Badjokes deliver here a surprising and enchanting single. The track ‘Miaow’, title coming fom the wisely pitched/unpitched vocal, takes us to the futuristic lands of garage 2.0, thanks to a solidly purring bass stressed by the obsessing ‘Miaow’. Pledging allegiance to the United Kingdom, the combo offers a fiercely worked tune that guarantees an initiatic travel in the inmost depths of London’s bass music. We want to emphasize on the remixers’ work who had to get their touch on an already very complete production. In the broken genre of his, 123mrk propose a cheerful but none the less deep version, matching his previous releases on labels such as Squelch & Clap and Infinite Machine. The duo Hubwar and Nekochan, respectively on production and vocals, provide us with a sweet dubstep remix led by the very unique young singer’s voice. A tremendous drop that gets to your guts immediately, a perfect balance between voice and melody with an intense feeling that never seems to decline... Hubwar and Nekochan prove how mesmerizing music can be. Finally, War and Mateba take dubstep back to its rootsfor their remix. Swaying between minimalist breaks and lightning drops, the two mates offer the main role to the infrabassline to send us back to the dark ages of the genre. The lot is brought to you by Radio Los Santos Records in a free pack available on Soundcloud. The label prepares a series of releases for 2012, you’d better keep your eyes and ears opened.

EP#1 Mago - One one one

Mago step up for Radio Los Santos’ first release. He delivers a two tracks EP tainted with uk funkyish riddims, stabbing synths and heavy bassline. While ‘One One One’ is a heavy club banger, ‘Vroum’ is more of an experimental tune built around Donna Summer’s voice sample ‘Love To Love You Baby’, reworked, pitched and depitched to offer a special flavour that characterizes the french producer. The EP is reinforced with four remixes by the likes of Night Drugs (Tracy Recordings), who softens the heavy bassline to make a groovy smoothy tune out of ‘One One One’, Habstrakt (Buygore) who dubstepized it in his very own way, Stinj (Get Flavor) who plunges you between Deep House and Uk Funky and Raziek (Top Billin) who takes over ‘Vroum’’ emphasizing the chopped up vocal to make it the leading core of his tribal remix.
The EP has already met support from Ukfunky.net or Scratcha DVA and MA1 at Rinse FM.
